Kết quả xổ số Quảng NamLong-term follow-up (LTFU) describes the ongoing check-ups needed after treatment for cancer has been completed. The follow-up appointments provide monitoring for any health problems or emotional problems which might have been caused by previous treatment.
The service primarily caters for young people and adults treated in the paediatric cancer service at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and young people and adults treated in the Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) service at University College Hospital. The LTFU service will accept external referrals from other specialist centres or GPs.

After the first appointment, a plan of care is discussed and further follow-up appointments are planned in the most appropriate clinic.

Kết quả xổ số Quảng NamThe LTFU service at UCLH has been developed to offer specialist follow-up after childhood cancer in an age-appropriate environment. Young people and adults who were treated for all childhood cancer types are seen in the service.
Not all treatment for childhood cancer causes problems but some people do need the medical support of a number of different specialists. These include reproductive medicine (fertility), endocrinology (hormones) and nephrology (kidney) along with expert oncologists, haematologists and a clinical nurse specialist, who all have expertise in treating the long-term effects of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery. Sometimes it is necessary to refer to other adult specialists and many of these specialists are available at UCLH.

Kết quả xổ số Quảng NamOur service co-ordinator provides a point of contact from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm either by telephone or email. A member of the clinical team will discuss any treatment related medical or psychological concerns.
Additionally, the Macmillan Support and Information CentreKết quả xổ số Quảng Nam located within the outpatient building provides support and advice on cancer-related conditions to patients and relatives.
