Kết quả xổ số Quảng NamOur vascular service has a major emphasis on endovascular (minimally invasive) treatments for vascular diseases, and this approach has largely replaced conventional open vascular surgery at UCLH.

Endovascular surgery is minimally invasive, relatively safe and highly cost-effective. Recovery times and hospital stays are much shorter than after open surgery. These procedures are carried out in our state-of-the-art 'hybrid' operating theatre. The UCLH service is part of the joint North Central London vascular programme, with its main hub at The Royal Free Hospital.

Kết quả xổ số Quảng NamThe service is provided in collaboration with a team of renowned expert vascular interventional radiologists, anaesthetists, acute stroke physicians and radiologists, haematologists, podiatrists, vascular scientists and specialist nursing.

Patients with carotid artery induced stroke symptoms are managed jointly with world-class specialists at the UCLH HASU. We offer state-of-the-art minimally invasive management of superficial and deep venous disease, including venous stenting. Blocked arteries are re-opened with minimally invasive angioplasty, stenting and laser techniques. Patients with diabetic foot disease are managed with endovascular techniques, in close collaboration with the podiatry team, vascular lab scientists and community nursing.

We provide vascular surgical support for other specialist services in UCLH and beyond, operating jointly with oncological, urological, gynaecological, ENT, spine, neurosurgical, general and orthopaedic surgical services especially where major blood vessels are involved.
